Know Before You Go

Pack for the Mountains

We'll keep the conference casual, so bring comfortable clothing for sessions, meals, and fellowship time. If you plan to join the guided hike, be sure to pack comfortable hiking shoes.

In late August, Glorieta typically experiences warm, pleasant days and crisp, cool nights. Daytime temperatures are often in the low to mid-80s, while overnight temperatures can drop into the upper 40s and 50s. Mountain weather can change quickly, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt for mornings and evenings.

Glorieta sits at approximately 7,500 feet above sea level, and altitude sickness is a very real possibility for visitors. The best way to prepare is to start drinking extra water several days before your trip and continue staying hydrated throughout your stay.

Water bottles and refill stations will be available during the conference.

Prepare for High Altitude

Glorieta is Cashless

Glorieta Adventure Camps operates as a cashless campus. If you plan to make purchases during your stay, please bring a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or another tap-to-pay method.

Cash is not accepted.

Wi-Fi Available

We know how important it is to stay connected while you're away from the office. Wi-Fi is available throughout the conference center and lodging areas, making it easy to check email, stay in touch with your team, or share conference highlights.
